| 内容記述 | The population of Nara Prefecture has been increasing its speed gradually in recent few years, and the situation of Nara City, therefore, is very important, because it has the largest amount of population in every city and county and high percent of increase. Comparing the results of the population census in 1970 with that of 1965 (Tab. 1), the population increases 12.6% in Nara Prefecture. Looked from county and city, the increase of 18.6% in cities is next to Ikoma Gun with the largest increase of 23.9% and every city and county in Nara Basin shows a remarkable increase of population, while 10.9% of Yoshino Gun shows the highest rate of decrease and Yoshino mountainous region, eastern Uda district, and counties in Yamato Plateaus can be regarded as the ones of its decrease. In Nara City that has the biggest increase (Tab. 2), Gakuen, Tomio and Fushimi districts have the rate of more than 100%. It means that the western region of the city has the big increase and that the development of this region occurs as the bedtown of the giant city of Osaka and so on. On the contrary, the southern Seika and the eastern Mountain districts are the regions of population decrease. Concerning the population movement in Nara Prefecture and in Nara City (Tab. 3, 4 & 5), especially the emigration to Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City, they are deeply connected with each other. Most of them are the male. But it is because of the national colleges for women in Nara City that the female occupies a large part of immigration. | |||||||
