| 内容記述 | An attempt was made to clarify the corresponding relationship between music and emotion, using the galvanic skin response (GSR) and the plethysmogram responses as the physiological indicators of emotional responses. The subjects were 10 female undergraduates. They were requested to listen to Debussy's "Feux d'artifice". The data were processed as follows. 1.GSR The changes shown on the galvanometer were recorded every 1 sec. and shown in percentage. 2. Plethysmogram The fluctuations during music and in rest were recorded every 1 sec. and compared with each other. The data was shown in percentage. 3. The corresponding relationship between music and emotion From the viewpoint of music and psychology, the data of 1 and 2 were analysed through the music sheet and the frequency indicator. The major results obtained in this study may be briefly summarized as follows: 1. Wherever the change in GSR was shown, new motives were discovered. The increase in dynamics stimulated the response in GSR. 2. The corresponding relationship was not found between diminution of the amplitude in volume pulsation and the change in dynamics, but when music was played in piano, the amplitude increased. It can be seen that the amplitude-changes are related to factors of composition. | |||||||||
