| 内容記述 | The present study was designed to test the prediction that high sociometric status children would be conditioned more easily than the low-status children under the positive reinforcement, "Mmm-hmm", while the opposite would hold under the negative reinforcement, "Huh-uh". A 2 (CRS)×3 (Reinforcement)×2 (Sex) factorial design was used with 10 Ss in each cell. The Taffel-type task was employed with 80 index cards. The experimenter was a female undergraduate. The significant verbal conditioning was obtained only in high-status boys with positive reinforcement. The findings were interpreted to be in line with our prediction. A discussion was made with respect to the experimenter-subject relationship, reinforcement stimuli, and the method of measuring the reinforcement history. | |||||||
