| 内容記述 | Many specific factors have been suggested as effective in harmonizing color. Not only the three attributes of color factors themselves, but also the many aesthetic design factors, become increasingly important in the determination of the affective values. The need for extended experimental analysis is keenly felt. The aims of this study is to examine the effect of form and location on the change of the affective values of color combinations, with special reference to harmonious feeling. In this study, 15 color- pairs were selected according to the degree of color harmony as measured by Hosono, H. Moreover, 3 standard figures and 5 changing location of the component colors were used as variables. The total number of observations amounted to 225, and mounted on Munsell N7/sheets. Subjects were requested to report their feelings about these samples by semantic differential method. Appraisals given to these samples were obtained on 14 kinds of scales with 5-points bipolar scale method which have been used in the previous study. The subjects in this experiment were 100 university students (50 males and 50 females). Factor analysis was conducted and 225 samples were plotted by each component score. The results permit the following conclusions : (1) As to "harmonious-inharmonious" scale, typical scale of factor Fl pattern, it was found the value oi "harmonious" feeling on several color-pairs increased or decreased as the effect of difference in form and location. Of these color-pairs, color-pairs in middle hamornious regions were most affected. The very same results were obtained as to "likable", "beautiful", "natural" and "simple" scales which were high correlated with "harmonious" scale, and factor structure had a strong resemblance to this scale in F1 pattern. (2) In the scales on F2, F3 and comqosite factors pattern, the affective values of the color-pairs in best and worst harmonious regions which were not influenced directly in "harmonious" scale, changed with the difference in form and location. This fact would seem to sugget that "harmonious" feelings vary qualitatively with the form and location. | |||||||
