| 内容記述 | In the taxonomical studies of microfossils, we need surface morphology rather than internal structure. For this purpose, usually optical microscope is used but its focal depth is not sufficient. In recent years, electron microscope is employed for this purpose by reason of its large depth of focus. In this paper, the present author writes the concentration method of calcareous nannofossils, preparation technique of micro fossils for electron microscopy and describes some observations on the micro fossils and the nannofossils from the Neogene of the Noto peninsula and Iki Island, Japan. | |||||||
