| 内容記述 | Of the Rokuji as recited on the 1st of March and the Nichimotsu, Shushi, etc. to be recited on the 8th, reports have already been made in some of the back numbers of BULLETIN OF NARA UNIVERCITY OF EDUCAION. And in the present report comment is made on Daidoshi included among Shishiki (i.e. Wajo, Daidoshi, Shushi, and Dotsukasa). The "Prayers by Daidoshi" are offered every day, during the whole function, after Shoya and Goya. And here in this report are taken up only the "Prayers" said after Shoya. Preference has been given to the Shoya recited on the 5th, because on this particular day more Saho (religious rites) are performed than on any other day. Though not treated in the present report, Jinmyocho and Kakocho are woven into the usual Shoya recitation, to be read in unison by the Hirashu, and Seshucho, Kaku, and Fujumon are additionally recited by Daidoshi himself. Sanraimon, Nyoraibai, Kanjoku, Jinbun, etc. are recited, one Long hour being allotted to these, and this part of recitation is all done in the narrow compass of h-fis, repeated in quite a fixed form almost like narration. This presents a sharp contrast to the lively movement of melody in the recitation done by Shushi. | |||||||
