| 内容記述 | There are, in fencing matches, many occasions when people defend themselves with fencing sticks against attacks made. Then, it is very important to know what kind of detence motion is most effctive. The author made an attempt, in this paper, to show one of the basic defence formswhich were most effective. First, a theoretical approach was tried, and secondly, a questionnaire study of the effect of this defence motion was made with a sample of senior high scool boys. Thirdly, an photograph analysis was made about the defence motion of skilled and unskilled college fencing club members. Fourthly, a strain-meter analysis was attempted to clarify the power curve pattern of the defenders. These approaches mentioned above revealed that the deffenced form proposed by the author was, fundamentally, very simple, rational, and very effctive, too. | |||||||
