| 内容記述 | A study has been made this time of the Shomyo of Nichimotsu, one of the periods in the Rokuji (pi.). Nichimotsu and Shoya as recited from the 1st of March down to the 7th, show extremely close resemblance to each other, on Shoya recited on the 1st a report has already been published elsewhere. Such being the case, just in order to avoid repetition, the writer has taken up Juichimen-Kannon-keka and Kannon-hogo, that is, the parts which are recited on and after the 8th according to the Hikiage method of recitation, with a remarkable variation made therein. The features of the above parts are: that the speed at which the recitation is to be made is greater; that no sooner does the recitation lead-er finish his chanting than his followers repeat the same, as a result of which there are more parts of the nature of canon; that the melody is simplified. Besides the above, Fusho, Keibyaku, Shio-Kanjo have been taken up, which are recited by the Shushi who, of all the four recitation leaders (Shishiki), plays the most brilliant part. | |||||||
