| 内容記述 | The present study was carried out to investigate the hatching mechanism of Raillietina echinobothrida onchosphere in vitro. 1. The early hatching process of the onchosphere is similar to that of Raillietina cesticillus onchosphere ; (i) a rotating, sweeping movement of the embryonic hooklets : (ii) an amoeboid movement of the whole onchosphere : (iii) the escape of onchosphere from the embryophore adhering to the onchosphere. But because of the small size of embryonic hooklets, the onchosphere, which has been set free from the embryophore, does not escape from the outermost uterine shell. 2. Pancreatin, pepsin, lipase, trypsin and sodium cholate are ineffective in inducing hatching and activating of the onchosphere. 3. Hatching is induced in NaCl, KCl, MgCl2, NaHCO3 and CaCl2 solutions. Hatching is most effective in a 0.085 molar solution of NaCl in which 69.23% hatching is induced in 30 minutes. 4. Hatching in tyrode's solution is more effective than that in inorganicsalt solutions. Especially, hatching of onchosphere in fresh segment just after excreting from the chicken and that in segment immersed in 25°C to 30°C tyrode's solutions for 0.5 to 2 hours are most effective in a tyrode's solution in which up to 90% hatching is induced in 60 minutes. 5. From the results of the experiment, it is concluded that sodium as well as chloride ion and hot tyrode solution exert the favourable effects in inducing hatching of onchspheres. | |||||||
