| 内容記述 | 1. To the domestic fowls, infected with the tapeworm belonging to Raillietina, Homomycin added to the basic feeding at the rate of 0.25% and 0.5% were given for a long time and the number of excreted segments was checked everyday and the anthelmintic effect of Homomycin against the tapeworm was evaluated. 2. In group B with 0.25% addition of Homomycin, the number of excreted segments increased day by day, and reached as many as 500 at times, but after the addition rate was changed to 0.75%, it decreased gradually. 3. In group A with 0.5% addition of Homomycin, the number of excreted segments did not increase and was very few during the experiment. 4. In the late part of experiment, the number of excreted segments decreased extremely, a very small number of excreted segments were proven in one chicken at the end of the experiment. On the other hand, the number of excreted segments decreased gradually in group B where 0.25% was changed to 0.75%. 5. At autopsy, in group A, only one tapeworm was found in the small intestine of one chicken, and 5 tapeworms in one chicken in group B. 6. When Homomycin was added to the basic feedings at the rate of 0.5 to 0.75% and administered, for a long time, to the chickens infected with tapeworms, it was found that Homomycin possessed the efficacy to inhibit the growth of tapeworms and to excrete the tapeworm out of the chicken before long. | |||||||
