| 内容記述 | It is necessary to prove positively children's audiovisual faculties and their relation to rurality in promoting educational television in rural (secluded) areas. For this purpose we used the method to make the children in urban and rural areas view the particular television programs and immediately after that write compositions of what thay thought and understood and we examined them comparatively and criticized the programs. Undoubtedly the composition method alone is insufficient and the others must be used such as making tests or using analyzer. But this time we used mainly the composition analyzing method as a preliminary step. This can not secure children's activities so quantitatively and in process of time as other methods, but it is fitted for knowing individual characteristics and reasons. We adopted three television programs of social studies and natural sciences in primary school, for the second and the fourth graders in urban and rural schools. The result is that urban children are superior to rural children in two points, that is, (a) in faculties to bring under their power the content more minutely and exactly, and (b) in attitude to develope the content more connectively and applictively. We consider these are brought mainly from daily broadcasting learning and subject learning through teachers' guidance, but this fact itself is effected by environmental factors. It is pointed out that rural children as a rule are enervate in learning since they are poor in life and learning experiences, and we acknowledge it similarly also in television viewing. Hereafter we must coniirm the consideration by surveying audiovisual faculties and rurality more and by surveying the influences that rurality have on facultties, more elementally through other various methods. | |||||||
