The present study has discussed the programs to shape going-to-school behavior in a social withdrawal boy of 13 years with non-attendance at school. The non-attendance problem was seemed to be due to social withdrawal. And his behavior of staying at home was kept by video games. The contents of sessions included development of fundamental academic skills, social skills training, training for attending school at morning, maintaining close ties with school and guidance for mother. He returned to school after 42 sessions which extended over 6 Jnonths and which were divided into 3 time periods. It was considered effective to shape his going-to-school behavior and to eliminate factors of his non-attendance at school at the same time. Comprehensive support by the construction of whole educational treatment brought his modification of behavior successfully. |
