Two Teaching plans were drawn to research effects of "Computer Robot" which is moved by FM radio-controll connected with a personal-computer as a teaching material on the education of "Basic Information" in junior high schools. The teaching plans have following purposes : (1) To understand names and functions of parts in a personal-computer. (2) To understand simple mechanisms of the robot moved by a personal-computer. (3) To understand BASIC programs to move the robot. (4) To be able to input BASIC programs to move the robot into a personal-computer. (5) To be able to move the robot by a personal-computer with the software such as a menuresponse method. Two Kinds of exercise were performed by two teaching plans with a hand-made text for those purposes. And then, some questionnaires and test problems were done in order to obtain informations of the student's interestings and understandings of the personal-computer on the study of "Basic Information". We anahzed two teaching plans to educate the "Basic Information" and discussed effects of the robot as a teaching material on the education of "Basic Information" in junior high shools. |
