| 内容記述 | The procedure for developing and maintaining a data base is presented. The important steps are (i) to decide the number of literatures included in the data base, (ii) to select the indispensable key words and (iii) to determine the style of the computer-readable input format. The Quantum Chemistry Literature Data Base (QCLDB) has been established now in Japan as a service system for non-specialists as well as for specialists of the quantum chemistry. When the QCLDB system is maintained, some problems are met. They are related to the original data collection from journals. The difficulty in the maintenance and the management of the data base in Japan is discussed. | |||||||
