(1) Whether the cloth was washed or not washed, the best result was obtained through twice-dyeing in any density of juice. (2) With the lapse of time a greater change of permeation was seen on the washed cloth than on the unwashed one. (3) As a result of these experiments it was found that in the case of painting-brush-tracing-dyeing and brush-sweeping-dyeing on the broad cloth woven of No.60 cotton yarn it was not necessary to take off starch and that it was better to dye twice in 10% to 15% density of soybean juice.
