| 内容記述 | 1) Each of two lots which consist of ten 30-day-old White Leghorn chicks and Nagoya Cochin chicks was respectively fed 50 cysticercoids of Raillietina(P.) kashiwarensis removed from the ant, Euponera solitaria. Thirty days after the date of infestation the chickens were killed and compared the rate of infestation in the two kinds of chickens. As may be seen in Table 1, the mean value in the rate of infestation of 10 White Leghorn chicks reveals 61% and that of Nagoya Cochin chicks 42.2%. The difference in the rate of infestation between the two lots was statisticaly analyzed by the methode of FISHER and it was found that, in the significance level of 95%, the rate of infestation of White Leghorn chicks is larger than thai of Nagoya Cochin Chicks. 2) The author collected the ant, Euponera solitaria, from both of the chicken yards where White Leghorn chicks and Nagoya Cochin chicks had been bred separately and examined the rate of infestation of the cysticereoids in the abdominal cavity of the ants. As may be seen in Table 2, the rate of infestation of the former reveals 62% and that of the latter 34%. The difference in the rate of infestation between both was statisticaly analyzed and it was found that, in the significance level of 99%, the rate of infestation of the former is also larger than that of the latter. Bv the above-mentioned results, after all, it may be proved that the number of the infesting tapeworm in White Leghorn chicks is larger than that in Nagoya Cochin chicks. | |||||||
