| 内容記述 | The present study aims to develop a Japanese version of Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (J-WLEIS) originally developed by Wong & Law(2002) to assess the individual difference in emotional intelligence. Original version of WLEIS has 16 statements, which have the following four scales: a) Self-Emotions Appraisal, b) Others-Emotions Appraisal, c)Use of Emotion and d)Regulation of Emotion. Participants were presented with 16 statements of the original version that were translated into Japanese by first author, and then were asked to rate the likelihood that the behavior represented in each statement occurred on 7-point scales. Factor structure of Japanese version was a fit with the four factor structure of the original version of WLEIS. Cronbach alphas were satisfactory for the four scales of J-WLEIS and positively correlated with each subscale of J-ESCQ (Toyota, Morita & Tak？i？，2007) . These results indicated the reliability and the validity of a Japanese version of WLEIS. | |||||||||
