| 内容記述 | This paper examines the status and issues of bioethics education regarding moral education, based on the theories of moral development and values clarification. As developmental theorists highlight, a goal of moral education lies in developing the ability to make logical judgments about the rightness or wrongness of actions amid new situations, or to develop rational decision-makers with such abilities. However, as clarification approaches have accentuated, moral education primarily aims to provide an opportunity to cultivate a certain kind of character. To this end, it is important to consider one’s own emotions that are inspired by each situation and one’s own experiences affecting their emotions. Through such efforts,“ how to live and how to die” can be elevated to an existential question. | |||||||
