| 内容記述 | We construct a quantized pure U(1) gauge field theory on a finite element in (d+1)-dimensional space-time.The field equations of motion are formulated on the finite element and it is shown that the equations have a desirable dispersion relation. We show that the field equations on the finite element preserve the symmetry which corresponds to the gauge symmetry of the continuum theory and that a gauge fixing is needed.Further, we solve the field equations of motion and prove that the consistency condition for the quantization is satisfied using the solution. | |||||||
