| 内容記述 | In the postwar period children’s facilities for physical handicaps were established under the Children’s Welfare Law. These facilities received children with mobility impairments to give them orthopedic treatment including rehabilitation. Child inpatients under school age attended the special hospital classroom in facilities or attached special schools. These days, child inpatients were mainly children with poliomyelitis and dislocation of hip joint. Until about 1965, the children with sever mobility impairment by cerebral palsy were rarely accepted by the facilities. In addition, children with cerebral palsy had been considered as non-surgical treatment subjects. They also had been classified as non-educable children to be exempted from obligatory education. After the time of about 1965, however, children with cerebral palsy rapidly replaced poliomyelitis and dislocation of hip joint. Parents of children with cerebral palsy and parties concerned increasingly demanded that children with cerebral palsy could be treated as medical and educational targets. In1970, child facilities for physical disabilities had accommodated over the half children with cerebral children and the partied concerned met children with severally disabled handicaps. Then they thought conventional methods were not applicable to severe children with cerebral palsy to organize“ special class for cerebral palsy”. | |||||||||||||
