| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to trace foreign language teaching methods from a historical point of view. We dealt with the grammar-translation method, the natural method, the phonetic method, Jespersen's method, the oral method, the reading method, the graded direct method, and the oral approach. We made much discussion on the features and defects of these methods and concluded that "from teacher-oriented to student-oriented" will be a main stream of foreign language teaching in the future. | |||||||
