| 内容記述 | The topic and the status of one's interlocutors in communicative situations must of necessity influence formal grammars, and it has been pointed out that Chomsky' s sentence grammar has already been replaced by discourse analysis especially among generative semanticists as a result of their concern for the presupposition and illocutionary force as global linguistic phenomena. But while those models based on the omnipresence of discrete oppositions ( K-F, Leech ) are inadequate for the job, Chomsky's X Notation is partially suggested in this paper to have strong generative capacity for some linguistic Montage phenomena of specifying the proper contexts. Two of the crucial principles of the new framework for the phenomena are : 1. Underlying configurations for semantic montage representation are ascribed to the syntactic rules of Chomsky - Adjunction. 2. Cyclical Feature (Image) Copying applies among the network of nodes governing the derived lexical heads even in nonadjacent trees. This hypothesis resulting from the complex and conflicting linguistic facets which await theoretical developments is based upon the assumption that the derived structures given by Chomsky - Adjunction are essentially identical with the configurations assigned by the X schema. It seems a reasonable requirement that we seek to construct a new semantic syntax which will capture the literature with a cartain cluster of images, since we are interested not only in linguistic phenomena within isolated sentences but also in the intersentential speech acts. | |||||||
