| 内容記述 | 本稿では，バランスト・スコアカードの大学図書館への適用例として，バージニア大学図書館における導入から運用に至る取り組みを紹介した。その結果，大学図書館運営へのバランスト・スコアカード導入には，図書館のミッションの明確化，既存の統計データの活用，評価結果のフィードバックによる業務の改善等，日本の大学図書館運営においても共通する利点があることがわかった。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper introduces how Balanced Scorecard can be applied to academic libraries by using the University of Virginia Library's implementation and use of Balanced Scorecard. As a result of introducing Balanced Scorecard, the library's mission has become clearer, they are better able to utilize the statistics that they have already gathered, and are able to make improvements to operations based on feedback received from evaluations. The author believes that there would be equivalent merits for Japanese academic libraries. | |||||||
